KUV Disinfection System

KUV whole house disinfection systems are used to disinfect water and make it safe to drink again. Intense ultraviolet light in the KUV system kills bacteria, viruses and cysts in water. (Model Numbers – KUV 1200 and KUV 1200x)

The Kinetico UV systems are engineered to provide effective UV dosage rates for the inactivation of pathogens, including:
• Viruses
• Legionella
• Bacteria
• Cryptosporidium
• Giardia
• E. coli
• Total coliforms

Both UV systems feature patented Crossfire® Technology. Crossfire Technology incorporates two proprietary highoutput UV lamps, with elliptical reflectors, that target pathogens with radiation from 360º, to reduce UV shadowing and provide microbiologically safe drinking water.
